In summer, you can go for walks on the nearby hiking trails, go on bike trips on the bike paths, visit the rope centre or bobsleigh track in nearby Oberwiesenthal. The apartments in Loučná pod Klínovcem basically follow up the German village Oberwiesenthal, from which it is separated only by a brook. There is a pedestrian border crossing in the village about 300 m from the apartments.
The chair lifts operate both in winter and summer. You can also go via Boží Dar to Jáchymov and from there take another cableway back to the top of Klínovec. In the vicinity, you can visit museums and industrial monuments registered on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. The ski resort has a restaurant, billiards, mini golf, table football, table tennis, tennis courts, outdoor chess, dance evening and live music prepared for you.
In the Agricola Spa Centre, you can have radon baths, massages and other medical and wellness procedures; there is a salt cave, cryotherapy chambers, fitness, solarium and aqua centre with a sauna mine. The aqua centre has a swimming pool with 25 m swimming lanes, a children’s pool with a waterfall and a water slide. There is an infrared sauna, herbal, steam and Finnish sauna. An outdoor herbal relaxation room is used to cool off, while roof terraces with sunbeds and a barefoot path serve for relaxation. In summer, you can use the sunbathing terrace and the sunny meadow.
You can also visit the Information Centre of the town Loučné pod Klínovcem, which can be found on the 1st floor of the municipal office building, where you can also find the Gallery of the painter Gustaf Zindel. It will offer you information on culture, sports, tourist attractions, and trip tips in Loučná pod Klínovcem and its surroundings. You can find here promotional and collectable items, tourist stamps and magnets.
The connected interskiregion allows you to use 47 km of ski slopes with one ski pass. You can enjoy the unique connection with the neighbouring ski resort Fichtelberg thanks to the ski bus that takes you every hour from Klínovec to Fichtelberg and back for free.
TRAILPARK Klínovec will allow you to experience the longest trails in Europe with your bike from May to October. Start at the top of Klínovec and set out on trails of four difficulty levels. They all end at the cableway that will take you back with your bike. Children under 5 years of age for free.
